For Bob Button, the symbology of this DON’T TREAD ON ME flag is rooted in the American Dream, Freedom and Enterprise. Each of our food grade tankers flies this stylize flag in homage to America. We use this patriotic flag as a brand for our food grade tanker service, illustrating that we intend no harm, that we are moving forward, trucking along, in service to our customers.
This DON’T TREAD ON ME flag was the first Jack (flag) flying on colonial American ships. It features a rattlesnake in motion with a background of alternating red and white stripes, representing the thirteen original colonies of the United States. In more recent years, it flew on U.S. NAVY ships during America’s bicentennial year, in 1976, and again after the 9/11 attacks from September 11, 2002 to June 4th, 2019. This flag still flies on America’s oldest warships.
